Summary
Rural Resources Community Action Senior and Independent Living Services is looking for a Case Manager or Trainee for our Kinship Caregiver Support, Kinship Navigator, Medicaid Transformation Project, & Family Caregiver Programs. This is a full-time position with benefits out of our Coville office. As a Case Manager or Trainee, you will provide comprehensive case management services to individuals or families on assigned Senior & Independent Living Services program(s). Assesses needs, develop and monitor implementation of service plans, makes appropriate referrals and serves as a client advocate with other service providers. Responsible for executing specific program standards and delivering or facilitating the delivery of program related services. Requires knowledge of related community resources and the laws and regulations specific to the area of service.
Salary & Benefit Information
- The hiring range for the Case Manager position is $21.65-23.42 per hour. The full salary range of $21.65-$36.06 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position
- The hiring range for the Case Manager Trainee is $19.87-$21.49 per hour. The full salary range of $19.87-$33.08 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position.
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. As a full or part-time employee, after the successful completion of our six-month training period you may receive a 4% step increase and an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary thereafter (excludes temporary employees). Depending on full time or part time status, other benefits may include medical (three plan options), dental and vision insurance, vacation, a 403(B) and/or Roth IRA retirement savings plan with a company match of up to 6%, $12,000 life insurance policy (while employed with RRCA), Employee Assistance Program and other auxiliary insurance options. All employees, regardless of temporary, part-time or full-time status will receive sick leave.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Case Manager or Trainee, you will need knowledge of related community resources and services. Job requirements include the ability the ability to access non-ADA facilities and homes, to prepare reports, correspondence, documentation, comprehension of complex documents, the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, & have the capability to analyze and evaluate client needs.
Education, Skills, and Abilities
To apply for Case Manager:
- Master’s degree in behavioral or health sciences and one year paid on-the-job social service experience; or
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or health sciences and two years of paid on-the-job social service experience; or
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of paid on-the-job social service experience; or
- Deemed Case Management Status from a Washington State Area Agency on Aging as described

- High School diploma or its equivalent and one year paid full time on-the-job social service experience; or
- High School diploma and one year full-time equivalent verifiable hours through an internship or volunteer work in social services. Part-time hours may be considered if hours total one year full-time equivalent; and
- Appropriate bilingual or bicultural skills when relevant to the job demand.
