SALARY RANGE: Hiring Range $21.65-$23.42 Per Hour.

Summary

Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Community Health Worker – Outreach Childcare Partnership for our Community Based Teams Division, this position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits and located at our Colville, WA or Deer Park, WA offices. A Childcare Community Health Worker will respond to clients in need of services and delivery of goods while working closely with the Program Manager to ensure project success and effective communication regarding all necessary program components. This position will conduct assessments, provide services, creates documentation according to program specifics, maintain a timely and accurate record of responsibilities and completed tasks, and provide aid needed to help qualified clients aligned with program criteria.

Salary & Benefit information

The hiring range for this role is $21.65-$23.42 per hour. The full salary range of $21.65-$36.06 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase.  As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA. Duties & Responsibilities

The successful Community Health Worker candidate for the Childcare expansion role will work as directed on project development in Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille Counties to supports community-driven childcare solutions by fostering partnerships, conducting planning, and completing activities that help the community address the shortage of childcare. This will include travelling throughout rural Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille counties to attend and conduct meetings, focus groups and listening sessions. They will be interacting and working to discover the community needs with a variety of stakeholders. This program coordinator will be responsible to compile monthly progress reports. The ability to work independently, while focusing on long-term and well-defined goals is important. Creating reports, presentations and being comfortable working with the public are essential functions in this role.

Education, Skills, and Abilities

Requirements:

  • Acceptable completion of Community Health Worker’s Certification program within 90 days of employment.
  • Acceptable completion of a criminal history background check.
