Summary

Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Residential Caregiver at our Allegiance Assisted Living Facility. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits, and is located at our Chewelah, WA facility. A Residential Caregiver will ensure that the residential and working environment is safe, healthy, and maintained at all times, and perform a variety of residential and personal caregiving duties utilizing general knowledge, specific expertise, and training. A Residential Caregiver works both independently and within a team setting to ensure residential care standards are achieved, prepares and serves nutritious and appealing meals as prescribed by management, and assists in administering individual resident medication management plans in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Salary & Benefit information

The hiring range for this role is $16.72-$18.09 per hour. The full salary range of $16.72-$27.84 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. This position is salary and exempt. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase.  As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA. Duties & Responsibilities

The Residential Caregiver will need to have a knowledge of computerized and manual recordkeeping systems and the ability to maintain them, and knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures that guide the services provided. The qualities we are looking for include the ability to prioritize and implement written and oral instructions, treat sensitive information and material with the appropriate level of confidentiality, and the ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment such as a computer, typewriter, calculator, copier, and multi-line phone system.

Education, Skills, and Abilities

To apply for this position, you would need a High School Diploma or GED; Certification in Fundamentals of Caregiving and/or Nursing Assistant Certified (received within one year of hire)-and- one year of experience providing services to disabled and/or elderly persons. Or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the job.
