Dial-A-Ride

We provide Dial-A-Ride (DAR) service for persons of special needs (persons with disabilities, too old or young to operate a vehicle, and low income) in Stevens, Pend Oreille, Ferry counties and support for Veterans and access Veteran services in the Highly Rural areas.

Dial-A-Ride also supports the remote trips into Colville, Kettle Falls, and Chewelah for basic necessities including fresh food, legal, medical, intermodal, recreation, and other peer and social opportunities.

Volunteer transportation is available, primarily for necessary appointments such as medical and social services usually to larger communities.

Rural Resources transports passengers to and from outlying areas when it’s the closest provider of type.

We offer fixed routes in Northern Stevens County.


CHEWELAH SHUTTLE SERVICE

Mondays and Wednesdays we offer a shuttle in Chewelah, by reservation, from 9:30 am to 11 am for clients who live in the city limits and need to access Chewelah area shopping or appointments.

Reservations need to be placed with the dispatch office no later than noon on the business day before the date of the event.  i.e. Friday by noon for Monday.

Who qualifies for these services?

Passengers in the Tri-County area.
