What We Do

Our Transportation services are designed to support rural and underserved populations by providing: 

• Dial-A-Ride (DAR) services for individuals with special needs  

• Fixed commuter bus routes for daily travel  

• Volunteer driver programs for critical appointments  

• Local shuttle services for access to groceries, medical care, and other essentials  

We also work with individuals to find transportation solutions that fit their situation, even if their needs don’t fall neatly into one program. 

Our approach focuses on understanding each person’s unique situation—whether it’s a one-time ride or an ongoing need—and working with them to find the best option. While we encourage clients to explore all available resources, we do our best to accommodate requests and connect people to transportation whenever possible.

Why It Matters

Transportation is a major barrier in rural communities. We serve a tri-county region covering over 6,200 square miles, where many residents live in remote areas and must travel long distances to access basic needs like medical care, groceries, an

d social services. Without reliable transportation, people risk missing appointments, losing access to essential resources, and becoming isolated. 

Our services help bridge that gap—making it possible for individuals and families to stay connected, healthy, and supported in their communities. 

• 295 individuals served through volunteer transportation  

• 1,270+ volunteer rides provided in 2025  

• 214,000 miles traveled by volunteers  

• 7,510 volunteer hours logged supporting clients
