Summary

Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Program Development Manager to assist the Division Director in building sustainable programs in our communities. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits and located at our Colville, WA main office. As a Program Development Manager, you will work closely with the Division Director on the planning, leadership, and direction of assigned program(s). You will help coordinate programs with local and regional community partners, and maintain data to report on program impact, outcomes, and financial stability.

We are seeking individuals with experience in:

  • Program Development/Project Management
  • Leadership and Change Management
  • Education awareness related to substance use disorder and recovery
  • Community organizing

Salary & Benefit information

The hiring range for this role is $23.60–$25.53 per hour. The full salary range of $23.60-$39.30 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. This position is salary and exempt. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase.  As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA. Duties & Responsibilities

The Program Development Manager will work independently to execute assigned work related to the creation, development, management, and operation of assigned programs. We are looking for a community-minded professional with strong organizational and management skills to spearhead a new project in the community. The successful candidate will have proven experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, community partners and clients. Candidates should have knowledge of community-based human services, and experience with business management. This position involves travelling throughout Stevens County and beyond to meet with the community, clients, and partners (mileage reimbursed). We are seeking candidates who are highly responsible, well-organized, creative, able to hold themselves and others accountable and enjoy celebrating project milestones. The ability to work independently on well-defined goals with light supervision is essential. 

Being comfortable working with the public is a requirement for this role. 

Education, Skills, and Abilities

To apply for this position, you would need A Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in a human service-related field, business management, leadership, education. Or two years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment, project management or a similar role.

  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must maintain automobile insurance as required by the State of Washington.
  • Acceptable completion of a criminal history background check.
